I’m a 31 year old IT specialist from Espoo, working as a part time entrepeneur on the side. My top 3 political goals are meaningful and effective environmental action to slow and halt climate change, ensuring the crisis survivability of world’s happiest nation, and advocating for inter-generational equality.
If the interests of the elderly or youth are ever at odds, I will always side with the future of the nation. I firmly believe that decisionmaking should be based on facts, scientific methods and thorough research, instead of blatant populism and hatred.
Municipal Elections 2025
I am a Green Party candidate for the Espoo city council in the municipal elections in 2025. My three main goals for Espoo are
- Lowering the housing prices by influencing city planning, construction and infrastructure projects. More student housing to Leppävaara!
- Advocating for improved public transit and light traffic, including the new light rail from Leppävaara to Matinkylä, a joint city bike system across the capital region, and the continuation of the West Metro system.
- Resolving the sh*tshow plaguing Espoo’s swimming halls, and ensuring that the best swim venue system in Finland is not only maintained, but improved upon.

Municipal elections are not the most glamorous subject. However it’s very important, because the decisions affect the services and city planning on your neighbourhood, your street, your nearest services.

In addition to the platform, vote for me because of
- Motivation. Most people are absolutely fed up with the current city administration, not doing enough to effectively tackle the housing prices and growing pains of the city. I am also fed up, and I’m doing everything I can to bring about some positive change.
- Vision. One of my goals in general is to bring back a less hostile debate atmosphere, fact based decision making and actual real life issues to the forefront.
- Administrative grounds. Espoo city council, and it’s various expert boards operate with gender quotas. Espoo Greens current council group is predominantly women, restricting certain board spots. If I’m selected, it evens out the gender divide and enables more options for chair negotiations and influencing decisionmaking.
How did I get into politics?
In early 2020 I left student associations behind in pursuit of politics. I joined the Youth of the National Coalition Party, then the pandemic hit, suspending most activities. During the few years, the culture and atmosphere developed into significantly more racist, unempathetic and hostile direction, and I no longer felt that is the best place for me.
I joined the Green party in 2023, first in Espoo Leppävaara area greens, worked in the board during 2024 and then in 2025 I was selected in the Espoo greens board for a period of 2 years.
